U.S. skier injured in escalator fall

.S. Alpine skier Cody Marshall has a head injury after falling about 20 feet while sliding from an escalator railing. Police say the 26-year-old was out with teammates when he fell off the escalator rail around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday in a mini-mall on Park City’s Main Street. He was taken by ambulance to University Hospital in Salt Lake City, where he was listed in critical condition Thursday afternoon.
