Flood control group meets

The Corps of Engineers says officials must work quickly to come up with a flood protection plan for the Fargo-Moorhead area. Engineer Craig Evans told the Metropolitan Flood Management Work Group during its first meeting Wednesday that the goal is to have a plan ready for Congress by mid-January, so it can be included in the Water Resources Development Act of 2010.
