Cass County group supports diversion

Cass County officials are supporting a Red River diversion project around Fargo for flood protection. A member of the county’s joint watershed board, Tom Fischer, said a diversion project on the North Dakota side of the river would protect people around the Maple and Sheyenne rivers from overland flooding.
