Hoeven asked to investigate NDSU
A Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit is urging North Dakota Gov. John Hoeven to investigate North Dakota State University’s federal animal welfare violations. The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine sent a letter this week to Hoeven, hoping to pressure state officials to address the 27 violations NDSU was cited for by the U.S. Department of Agriculture in 2007.By: By Kelly Smith, Forum Communications Co., The Jamestown Sun
