Minn. minister takes over as head of National Council of Churches

The longtime leader of the Minnesota Council of Churches is taking over as the president of the National Council of Churches. The Rev. Peg Chemberlin was official installed during a service at St. Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral in Minneapolis. She is a native of Waconia, Minn., a minister in the Moravian Church of America, and has led the Minnesota council for the last 14 years.
