Kirk Heim, representing the board of directors for the Jamestown Community Foundation recently presented Jessie Fuhrer and Cindy Lugo, of the James River Humane Society, with a grant of $1,000 for operating support for the organization. The Jamestown Community Foundation is a local, nonprofit entity that provides a tax-exempt organization for donors to fund worthy causes in the Jamestown community.
