In recognition of the efforts of the Jamestown Fire Department during the Aug. 31 fire at its potato processing plant in Jamestown, Cavendish Farms recently donated $5,000 to the volunteer firefighters of the Jamestown Fire Department. The money will be used to purchase dress uniforms for the volunteer firefighters. Pictured is Mark Urquhart, of Cavendish Farms and a volunteer firefighter, and Jim Reuther, fire chief.
