The Kensal Wolf Den Bar won the Class B N.D. state amateur basketball tournament in Minot last weekend. They defeated Regent Honeyman Farms 73-54 and CM’s Place of Wimbledon 90-48 to earn a spot in the semifinals. They advanced to the title tilt by beating Eldridge County Grain Co-op 81-67. In the championship, the Kensal team downed Crary Hamen’s Trucking 75-63. Team members are front row, from left, Daniel Florhaug, Ryan Spitzer, Dave Johnson and Doug Wick. Back row, from left, Darren Ekren, Shane Leininger, Trent Leininger and Jeff Johnson. Wick was named the tournament’s MVP, while Johnson was selected to the all-tournament team.
