Paul Halko, refuge supervisor at Arrowwood National Wildlife Refuge near Edmunds, N.D., stands with Ann Hoffert, president of Birding Drives Dakota, Wednesday next to a wildlife viewing blind that is set up to watch the spring dancing ritual of sharp-tailed grouse. The blind will probably be moved later to a sight closer to water for waterfowl and shorebird viewing.
