The Medina-Streeter Hustler 4-H group demonstrated the making of butter with an old-fashioned hand crank butter churn and served it with homemade bread as part of the “Key Ingredients: America by Food” traveling Smithsonian Museum exhibit at Medina. The exhibit is open Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays from 1 to 4 p.m. There is no admission charge. The exhibit focuses on the evolution of food, from early pioneer days to frozen foods. At 1 p.m. Friday, Matt Schanandore will discuss music and interpretation of Native Americans and an ice cream demonstration is at 3 p.m.
