Patricia Hess

Patricia Hess, 79, West Fargo, ND, died Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at Innovis Health, Fargo, ND.

Patricia Ratts was born March 29, 1931, in Edgeley, ND to F.F. and Della (Murray) Ratts. She was raised in Jamestown, ND and graduated from Jamestown High School. After attending a school in Minneapolis, MN, Patricia returned to Jamestown, where she began a 40 year career with Farmer’s Union Insurance. Following her marriage to Donald L. Hess on July 17, 1950 in Moorhead, MN, the couple made their home in Jamestown. Donald died in 2002 and Patricia moved to West Fargo in 2005.

Patricia loved golfing and painting as well as other arts and crafts. She is survived by her daughter, Rita Hess, Mapleton, ND and a brother, Harold Ratts of Jamestown. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and nine brothers and sisters.

A private service will be held for Patricia at a later date.
