Willmor O. Johnson, 94, Enderlin, N.D., died Thursday, July 22, 2010, at Maryhill Manor, Enderlin. Mr. Johnson was born Sept. 4, 1915, near Nome, N.D., the son of Olaf and Mabel (Hagen) Johnson.
Willmor O. Johnson, 94, Enderlin, N.D., died Thursday, July 22, 2010, at Maryhill Manor, Enderlin.
Mr. Johnson was born Sept. 4, 1915, near Nome, N.D., the son of Olaf and Mabel (Hagen) Johnson. He attended school in Eastedge, N.D. He married Luella Ourenhagen on June 5, 1942, in Enderlin. They farmed near Nome. They retired in 1986 and moved to Nome. In 2006, they moved to Enderlin. He was a lifetime member of St. Petri Lutheran Church, Nome. He enjoyed the Minnesota Twins, hunting, fishing and playing cards.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Warren (Nancy Ann) and Roger (Rosemary), both Nome; a daughter, Sherry Henne, Bridgeport, Neb.; two sisters, Audrey (Gordon) Gilbertson, Jamestown, and Miranda Elling, Olean, N.Y.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services: 11 a.m. Monday, St. Petri Lutheran Church, Nome.
Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Armstrong Funeral Home, Enderlin, and one hour before the service at the church.
Burial: St. Petri Lutheran Cemetery, Nome.
