Glenn H. Gilmore, 83, of Jud, N.D., died Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010, at Villa Maria, Fargo, N.D. Mr. Gilmore was born March 31, 1927, at Edgeley, N.D., the son of George and Mathilda (Nitschke) Gilmore.

Glenn H. Gilmore, 83, of Jud, N.D., died Thursday, Oct. 14, 2010, at Villa Maria, Fargo, N.D.

Mr. Gilmore was born March 31, 1927, at Edgeley, N.D., the son of George and Mathilda (Nitschke) Gilmore. He attended a rural school in Glen Township, near Edgeley. He grew up on the family farm, which he co-owned with his late brother, Ivan, with whom he farmed with as Gilmore Brothers. He was a life-long farmer. He enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by a sister, Deloris Kingston, Cupertino, Calif.; and a sister-in-law, Irene Gilmore, Jud.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Roy and Ivan; and a sister, Viola Stickler.

Memorial service: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jud United Methodist Church, Jud, with the Rev. Rodney Ulmer officiating.

Visitation: none. Arrangements by Lisko Funeral Chapel, Edgeley.

Burial: Mount Hope Cemetery, Edgeley.

Memorials: in lieu of flowers, to Jud United Methodist Church or Great Plains Assistant Dog Foundation, both Jud.
