Gary McMurray

Gary Wakeman McMurray, 75, Jamestown, died Thursday, Jan. 6, 2011, at his home.

Mr. McMurray was born July 10, 1935, in Mason City, Iowa, the son of Durwood W. and Alma Lillian (Anderson) McMurray. He served in the U.S. Air Force. He worked as a chef and as a music teacher.

He is survived by his children and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Alma; and two brothers, Alan and Keith.

Services: none planned. Arrangements by Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.

Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, in the spring.
