Curtis James “Bud” Schuldheisz, 63, Jamestown

Curtis James “Bud” Schuldheisz, 63, Jamestown, died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2011, at Ave Maria Village, Jamestown.

Mr. Schuldheisz was born Jan. 15, 1948, in Jamestown, the son of Rudolph and Ida (Reich) Schuldheisz. The family moved to rural the Montpelier, N.D., area and to Jamestown in 1957. He attended Jamestown schools. He married Phyllis Marsolek on Jan. 18, 1969. He worked as a carpenter and was a foreman at Rollohome, Inc. He moved to Courtenay, N.D., in 1977, where he owned and operated Bud’s Tree Service. He returned to Jamestown in 2004. He enjoyed auction sales, the outdoors, working on machines and buying and selling tractors, motorcycles and old cars.

He is survived by two sons, Kevin (Jennifer), West Fargo, N.D., and Kelly, Jamestown; a daughter, Krystal Schuldheisz, Fargo; two sisters, Marlys Hollingsworth, Everett, Wash., and Sharon Lutman, Jamestown; a brother, Lester “Joe” (Jean), Carrington, N.D.; and a special niece, Christy Fincel, Jamestown.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Eugene; and a sister, Arlene.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, St. James Basilica, Jamestown, with the Rev. Al Bitz officiating.

Visitation: 3 to 7 p.m. today, Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown, at a later date
