Irene Siebert, 79, Jamestown, ND, died Monday, October 10, 2011 at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND, as a result of an automobile accident. Irene Miller was born March 25, 1932 in Kidder County, ND, the daughter of Theodor and Magdalena “Maggie” (Mittleider) Miller.

Irene Siebert, 79, Jamestown, ND, died Monday, October 10, 2011 at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND, as a result of an automobile accident.

Irene Miller was born March 25, 1932 in Kidder County, ND, the daughter of Theodor and Magdalena “Maggie” (Mittleider) Miller. She grew up in the Tappen, ND area and attended school in Bismarck, Tappen and Cleveland. On August 23, 1950 Irene married Daniel Kapp, Sr. They lived in the Medina area, moving to Jamestown in 1966. Irene kept herself busy as a homemaker and raising her family. Daniel died on January 18, 1985. Irene married Carl Siebert on May 9, 1995 in Jamestown, where they made their home.

Irene liked listening to polka music, dancing and she was a faithful listener of the McCoy Ministry radio program. She enjoyed gardening, baking and cooking for her family and she was especially known for her strudels, which will be missed by her family. Irene was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary and VFW Auxiliary.

Irene is survived by her nine children, Eileen (Kenneth) Clemens, Jamestown, Marion (Edward) Kuhlmann, Wimbledon, ND, Theodor (Debra) Kapp, Jamestown, Larry (Anna) Kapp, Greensville, PA, Shirly (Roger) Krapp, Spiritwood Lake, ND, Richard Kapp, Donald Kapp, Daniel (Jennifer) Kapp, Jr. and Eva (Dennis) Wiest, all of Jamestown; grandchildren, Velvet (Lewis) Fall, Twyla Clemens, Cassandra (John) Jackson, Kimberly Kuhlmann, Michael Kuhlmann, Jamie Kapp, Rusty (Tara) Kapp, Andrew (Kim) Kapp, Elizabeth (Leroy) Siebert, Carmen Kapp, Katrina Kapp,Tabitha (Travis) Beach, Tiffany Kapp, Ryan (Lisa) Krapp, Chris Krapp, Abagail Kapp, Lindsey San Miguel, Megan Kapp and Hannah Kapp; 14 great-grandchildren, Kristina, Edward and Kayla Fall, Kenneth and Everett Jackson, Ryan and Dillon Kapp, Cole, Ty and Mya Kapp, Austin Kapp, Elizabeth Kapp, Eve Kauchak and Sarita San Miguel; two great-great-grandchildren, James and Zoey Fall; siblings, Delores Kluth, Raymond (Pearl) Miller, Mary Ann Johnson, Dorothy (Oscar) Kroll, Marvin (Lynore) Geist, LaVonne Schultz, Arla (Willis) Wiger, Betty Witt, Melvin (Vicki) Geist, Ada Kondos and Ernest (Kay) Geist; numerous nieces and nephews; all of Carl’s family; special friend, Wade Dittus; and numerous grand-dogs who came to visit.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; first husband, Daniel Kapp, Sr.; parents; grandchild, Everett Clemens; two brothers, Duane Miller and Harold Geist and one sister, Elaine Ward.

Funeral Service: 10:30 AM, Friday, October 14, 2011 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Jamestown, with Pastor Harlan Kaden officiating.

Visitation: 6:00 to 7:00 PM, Thursday, October 13, 2011 at St. John’s Lutheran Church.

Prayer Service: 7:00 PM, Thursday, October 13, 2011 at St. John’s Lutheran Church.

Burial: Miller Cemetery, Streeter, North Dakota
