Norma Jean Reich, 77, Jamestown, ND, died Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at Eventide at Hi-Acres, Jamestown. Norma Jean Miller was born December 13, 1933 at Woodworth, ND, the daughter of Burton and Velma (Barnard) Miller. She attended school and graduated from Woodworth High School.

Norma Jean Reich, 77, Jamestown, ND, died Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at Eventide at Hi-Acres, Jamestown.

Norma Jean Miller was born December 13, 1933 at Woodworth, ND, the daughter of Burton and Velma (Barnard) Miller. She attended school and graduated from Woodworth High School. Norma was an accomplished and very gifted pianist, playing since she was 6 years old by ear and later taking lessons, so she could learn to read music. She played for her brother’s wedding at the age of 13. She moved to Jamestown in 1957 where she worked in several places including 20 years at Central Dakota Nursing Home, from where she retired.

Norma married Vernon Reich on June 27, 1987 at the Leroy and Velma Roeske farm. They have made their home in Jamestown since.

Norma enjoyed cross-stitch and music. She attended the First Assembly of God Church, Jamestown.

Norma is survived by her husband, Vernon, Jamestown; stepson, Norman Reich, Colorado Springs, CO; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; and six brothers.

Funeral Service: 1:30 PM, Friday, November 18, 2011 at the First Assembly of God Church, Jamestown with Chaplain David Fisher officiating.

Visitation: 3:00 to 7:00 PM, Thursday, November 17, 2011 at the Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown, ND.

Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown, ND.
