Olga Veil was born October 8, 1922 SW of Gackle, ND, the daughter of John and Lydia Veil. She grew to womanhood in the vicinity.
She and Raymond Fischer were married October 17, 1943 at Streeter, ND. They made their home on a farm west of Streeter where they farmed until 1968 when they moved into Jamestown. In 1985 she moved to Gackle. In 1991 she moved back to Jamestown where she has resided.
She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, ALCW, choir, and bible school teacher.
She is survived by 2 sons, Orville (Verna), Madison, WI; Erwin (Pat), Jamestown, ND; 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 2 brothers and 6 sisters, Lenora Labrensz, McLaughlin, SD; Bertha Labrensz, Jamestown, ND; Magdalena Klundt, Bismarck, ND; Henry Veil, Jamestown, ND; Esther Unruh, Fargo, ND; Violet Fischer, Ft. Dodge, IA; Eugene Veil, Bismarck, ND; and Ileen Albin, Jamestown, ND; and a very dear friend, Reiny Iszler, Jamestown, ND.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 2 sons and 1 granddaughter.
Funeral service – 10:30 A.M. Wednesday November 23, 2011 at the Church of the Nazarene, Jamestown.
Burial Sunset – Memorial Gardens at Jamestown, ND.
Visitation – 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM Tuesday @ the funeral home
Prayer Service – 7:00 PM Tuesday @ the funeral home
