Margery Hoeper Ryan, 93, Jamestown, ND, formerly of Dickinson, ND, died Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Eventide at Hi-Acres, Jamestown. Margery was born January 15, 1918 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin the daughter of Mark and Bess (Johnson) Hoeper. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1940.

Margery was born January 15, 1918 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin the daughter of Mark and Bess (Johnson) Hoeper. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1940.
Margery met and married James G. Ryan in Chicago on November 6, 1943. They had four children: Dan, Mike, Kay, and Carol. They lived, worked, and retired in Dickinson, ND loving their special home and time at Patterson Lake.
Margery enjoyed reading and playing cards. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends.
Margery is survived by a son, Dan (Sue) Ryan, Battleground, WA; a daughter, Carol (Bruce) Henke, Jamestown, ND; a son-in-law, Dorick (Betty) Sauvageau, Bozeman, MT; eight grandchildren, Carol (John) Hadley, Baker, MT, Kelly (Brad) Huse, Bozeman, MT, Mark (Amy) Sauvageau, Haley, ID, Rob (Tiffany) Ryan, New Castle, WA, Jeanne Kay Ryan, Monroe, WA, Ryan (Tami) Henke, Oxbow, ND, Alison (Travis) Hoeg, Fargo, ND, Kortney (Kit) Engelhardt, Kalispell, MT; and eighteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister; husband; daughter, Kay; and son, Mike.
Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at St. Patrick’s Parish, Dickinson, ND.
Visitation: One hour before the service at the church.
Interment: St. Joseph Cemetery, Dickinson, ND.
Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown is in charge of arrangements.
