Luane R. French, 49, Jamestown, ND, died Tuesday, January 3, 2012 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center.
Luane was born March 15, 1962 in Kensal, ND, the son of Sylvester and Evelyn (Steele) French. He attended New Rockford High School, New Rockford, ND. He worked as a truck driver for LaMoure Building.
Luane enjoyed riding his Harley motorcycle, playing his guitar, and he ran Captain Lou’s Karaoke.
Luane is survived by his son, Christopher French, Ashland, OR; fiancée, Gail Schilling, Jamestown; mother, Evelyn (Reuben) Tweed, Buffalo, ND; one sister, Ruby Deminck, Fingal, ND; five brothers, Byron (Donna) French, Billings, MT, Marshall (Bev) French, St. Michael, ND, Rodger (Patti) French, Wahpeton, ND, Arlen (Donna) French, Fargo, ND and Reggie (Michelle) Tweed, Bismarck, ND; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Charles and Robert.
Memorial Service: 2:30 PM, Saturday, January 7, 2012 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, ND, with Pastor Bryce Tahran officiating.
No visitation is scheduled.
