Alvina Kracht, 83, Jamestown, ND, died Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center.
Alvina Job was born September 30, 1928 at Cleveland, ND, the daughter of John and Barbara (Perman) Job. She grew up in Jamestown and graduated from Jamestown High School. On July 22, 1949 she was united in marriage with Otto Kracht in Moorhead, MN. She lived and raised her family in Jamestown. Alvina worked for Jamestown Hospital for 26 years.
Alvina loved fishing and being with her family. She enjoyed her afternoon rides seeing Jamestown and the surrounding area with her husband.
Alvina is survived by her husband, Otto, Jamestown; three sons, John (Kathy) Kracht, Valley City, ND, Jerry (Cindy) Kracht, High Point, NC and David (Darlene) Kracht, Moorhead, MN; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Vi Williams, Brownswood, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; and two sisters.
Memorial Service: 11:00 AM, Monday, January 30, 2012 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, with Pastor Bryce Tahran officiating.
No visitation is scheduled.
