Ella Brose, 92, Jamestown, died March 14, 2012 in a Jamestown care center. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 17, at Bismarck Funeral Home. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
Ella Brose, 92, Jamestown, died March 14, 2012 in a Jamestown care center. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 17, at Bismarck Funeral Home. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
Ella was born on January 13, 1920, the 5th of 8 children born to Gustave and Ottila (Brandt) Rosenau. She was raised and educated near Tuttle, ND. She married Gustuf Brose, December 6, 1938. They farmed north of Arena and Wing, ND before moving to Bismarck in 1957. She was employed as a housekeeper for many years. Ella moved to Jamestown in July of 2007 to be close to her daughters.
Ella is survived by her daughter, Sheila (Tim) Harr; son-in-law, Jerry Krenzel; grandsons, Jerry Jr. and Barry Krenzel; three great-grandchildren, Renada, Rhiannon & Ethan Krenzel; brother, John (Betty) Rosenau, and good friend, Phyllis Schaller.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gus; daughter, Lavonne Krenzel; great-grandson, Hunter Krenzel; her parents; and siblings, Ted, Olga, Hilda, Ruth, Albert and Clarence.
