Lucille Lehr Ackerman, 84, Jamestown, ND, died Friday, March 23, 2012 at Eventide at Hi-Acres, Jamestown.

Lucille Warren was born July 31, 1927 in Homer township, Stutsman County, North Dakota, the daughter of Harold and Bernice (Dent) Warren. She grew up in the Jamestown area and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1946. On February 9, 1948 Lucille married Kenneth Lehr in Tacoma, WA. They lived for approximately 50 years in Vancouver, WA, where Lucille worked for the Vancouver School District. Kenneth passed away in 1998. She moved back to North Dakota in 1999. Lucille married Don Ackerman on November 3, 1999 in Bullhead City, Arizona. They made their home in Jamestown.

Lucille is survived by her husband, Don, Jamestown; two children, Timothy (Mary) Lehr and Deborah (Don) MacLardy, both of Vancouver, WA; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; step-children, Richard (Sharon) Ackerman, Wimbledon, ND and Bruce Ackerman, Jamestown; and four step-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and one brother, Harold (Bud) Warren.

Funeral Service: 7:00 PM, Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, with Pastor Bryce Tahran officiating.

Visitation: 4:00 to 7:00 PM, Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel
