Marsha K. Ulberg, 61, Minot, died Saturday, April 7, 2012 in her home.

Marsha Lulai was born on May 20, 1950, in Jamestown, ND, a daughter of Edward and Rose Ardis (Podhasky) Lulai. She was raised on the family farm 10 miles north of Jamestown, attending Ashland Township schools and graduated from Jamestown High School in 1968.

Marsha furthered her education by obtaining a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology from Minot State University.

On December 28, 1972, Marsha was united in marriage to Jerry Ulberg at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Fried, ND. They made their home in Minot until 1974, when they moved to Phoenix, AZ. While in Phoenix, Marsha worked in retail service at Sears. In 1976, they returned to Minot, where she worked at Stevenson’s department store. In June of 1982, their son Brad, who was their pride and joy was born. Marsha was able to be a stay at home mom until June of 1995, when she began working in sales for Clear Channel Radio Stations. Marsha was a marvelous cook. She competed in chili-cook offs for several years, winning the state chili cook off in the late 1980’s which allowed her to compete nationally. She enjoyed spending time with friends at her cabin Strawberry Lake, gardening, and grilling outside.
