Elizabeth Rudy, 90, of Jamestown, ND, died Monday, April 16, 2012 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center, Jamestown.

Elizabeth Rudy, 90, of Jamestown, ND, died Monday, April 16, 2012 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center, Jamestown.

Elizabeth Culbert was born on March 16, 1922, in Jamestown, the daughter of Milo and Voletta (Cors) Culbert. She received her education in Courtenay, ND graduating in 1940 and attended Valley City State College. Elizabeth married Clarence Rudy on September 28, 1947 at the United Presbyterian Church, Jamestown. They made their home in Jamestown where she worked as a vocational rehabilitation evaluator at the North Dakota State Hospital for 30 years. Elizabeth retired in May 1986 and continued to live in Jamestown, enjoying retirement with Clarence.

She was a member of United Presbyterian Church, Jamestown and the Medina Legion Auxiliary. She loved playing cards, reading, and watching her favorite TV shows.

Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Clarence Rudy, Jamestown; one son, Michael Rudy, Jamestown and one daughter, Rebecca Rudy, Snoqualmie, WA., granddaughters Sarah Andersen (Josh) Portland OR., Callie Lee North Bend, WA., and grandson Chris Rudy (Mandy) East Grand Forks, MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Mary Jane Sehon, and two granddaughters, Anne Rudy, and Tess Sollitto.

Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 21, 2012 at United Presbyterian Church, Jamestown, ND.

Visitation: 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, April 20, 2012 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.

Interment: Oak Grove Cemetery, Detroit Lakes, MN.
