Wilma Dally, 94, Jamestown, ND, died Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Eventide at Hi-Acres in Jamestown.

Wilma Dally, 94, Jamestown, ND, died Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Eventide at Hi-Acres in Jamestown.

Wilma was the 3rd oldest of 9 children born to William and Oline (Olson) Erickson, on December 31, 1917, in Marion, ND. She married Lyle W. Dally on November 9, 1943 in Jamestown, ND by Reverend McCoy. He preceded her in death on June 6, 1988. She made many loving memories for the family and friends surviving her, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Wilma was baptized in the Lutheran Church, was a longtime member of the American Legion Auxiliary, volunteered for many years at the Home Economics department of the Stutsman County Fair. She brought home many blue ribbons from her entries of her canned goods. She loved gardening, canning and fishing.

Wilma is survived by her son Vern (Gwen) Dally, Jamestown, ND; her daughter Elaine Amundson of Wahpeton, ND; grandchildren, Randy (Liza) Danielson, Sherri Danielson, Bill (Heidi) Dally and Renae (Travis) Stahlecker and 8 great grandchildren.

Also surviving are one brother, Oscar Erickson; and four sisters, Evelyn Clemens, Lillian Peckham, Arline Lueck and Leone (Don) Willey; plus numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with Lyle preceding her in death were her parents, two daughters, Karen Dally and Lola Danielson, son-in-law Craig Amundson, and three brothers, Henry, Carl & Floyd Erickson.

Funeral Service: 10:30 AM, Saturday, May 12, 2012 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Jamestown, with Pastor Leon Zavadil officiating.

Visitation: 4:00 to 7:00 PM, Friday, May 11, at Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown, ND.

Prayer Service: 7:00 PM, Friday, May 11, at the Eddy Funeral Chapel.

Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown
