Lee Risgaard
Lee Risgaard, 71, of Garrison, ND, formerly of Jamestown, ND, died Tuesday, June 14, 2012 at Benedictine Living Center, Garrison. Lee Risgaard was born on December 31, 1940 the son of Narve and Olga M. (Aaker) Risgaard. He attended county schools in Forde Township and Tolna Public School.
Lee Risgaard, 71, of Garrison, ND, formerly of Jamestown, ND, died Tuesday, June 14, 2012 at Benedictine Living Center, Garrison.
Lee Risgaard was born on December 31, 1940 the son of Narve and Olga M. (Aaker) Risgaard. He attended county schools in Forde Township and Tolna Public School. Lee stayed and farmed on the family farm after his father’s death with his brother. He also worked on farms, in elevator construction, and on the oil rigs. Lee married Charlotte Bruns on March 24, 1979 in Stirum, ND. They lived at Ray, Bowman, Lisbon, Buffalo, and Montpelier, ND.
Lee was a member of Sigdahl Lutheran Church, Tolna, ND.
Lee is survived by Charlotte Risgaard, Jamestown; two daughters, Cathy (Jesse) Anderson and Tricia (Chad) Kuemper; two grandchildren, Lexi and Taylor; brother, Duane; and sister, Betty (Monte) Breckheimer.
He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Linda Risgaard.
Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.
Visitation: 1;00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday, June 18, 2012 and 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.
Interment: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, North Dakota.
