Phyllane Wingire

Phyllane Wingire, age 90, of Tooele, UT, formerly of Grace City, ND, died Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at Mountain West Medical Center, Tooele, UT. Phyllane was born on July 29, 1921, the daughter of Daniel and Helen (Dahl) Willoughby in rural Grace City, ND. She attended school in Grace City. On August 16, 1941, Phyllane was married to Einer C. Wold at Carrington.

Phyllane Wingire, age 90, of Tooele, UT, formerly of Grace City, ND, died Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at Mountain West Medical Center, Tooele, UT.

Phyllane was born on July 29, 1921, the daughter of Daniel and Helen (Dahl) Willoughby in rural Grace City, ND. She attended school in Grace City. On August 16, 1941, Phyllane was married to Einer C. Wold at Carrington. They lived in Grace City and later moved to Jamestown where she worked as a cook at Ann Carlson School. They returned to Carrington where she worked as a cook at Golden Acres Manor for many years. Einer died Sept. 5, 1981. On May 10, 1986, she married Charles Wingire, and they resided in Jamestown. Charles died and she continued to live in Jamestown until she moved to Utah in 2008.

Phyllane enjoyed knitting and playing cards.

Phyllane is survived by her children, Philip (Shelley) Wold, Calvin, ND and Sonja (Michael) Holmes, Erda, UT; seven grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Alan; and husbands, Einer and Charles, her parents and two brothers and four sisters.

Family requests memorials be given to Grace City Cemetery.

Visitation: Sunday, 2:00- 8:00 PM and Monday, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM at Evans Funeral Home, Carrington, ND

Funeral Service: Evans Funeral Home, Carrington, ND Monday, June 25, 2012 at 2:00 PM

Interment: Grace City Cemetery, Grace City, ND
