Jenny Ann Puno-Mathias, 36, Jamestown, ND, died Monday, July 9, 2012 at her home, under the care of hospice, with her family surrounding her.
Jenny Ann Dupree was born June 8, 1976 in Grand Forks, ND, the daughter of Calvin and Claudia (Shephard) Dupree. She attended Lisbon High School and moved to Jamestown when she was a junior, graduating from Jamestown High School in 1994. She attended North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton. Jenny moved back to Jamestown in 2005. She married Nick Puno. Jenny was employed by Thrifty White Drug in Jamestown and was the Administrative Assistant at the Jamestown Civic Center. Jenny married Robert Mathias on October 8, 2011 in Jamestown.
Jenny’s hobbies included walking, 4-wheeling, gardening and flowers and fishing with her dad. Her children were the love of her life.
She was involved with the Relay for Life and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Jenny is survived her husband, Robert Mathias, Jamestown; three children, Taylor, Brittany and Jonathan Puno, all of Jamestown; parents, Calvin and Claudia Dupree, Jamestown; one sister, Rachel (Jeremiah) MacDonald and one nephew, Noah MacDonald, all of Bismarck, ND.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents and cousin, Jason Shephard.
Funeral Service: 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Jamestown, with Pastors Rich Fitzer and Leon Zavadil officiating.
Visitation: 3:00 to 7:00 PM, Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at the Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown.
Burial: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, ND
