Kenneth W. Alber, 82, died Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Sanford Hospital in Fargo, ND.
Kenneth Weldon Alber was born August 23, 1929 in Driscoll, ND, the son of Hank and Marie Alber.
He graduated from Driscoll High School; and graduated from Jamestown College in 1973. He served in the Air Force for over 20 years. He also worked at the North Dakota State Hospital for over 20 years.
He married Nellie Jean Paulson on September 4, 1956, residing in New Mexico, Montana, Germany, Minnesota and Missouri before settling down permanently in Eldridge, ND.
He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and the Eagles Club.
Ken is survived by his children; son, Arlan Alber, Eldridge, ND; daughter, Colleen Alber, Stanley, ND; a grandson Christopher Alber, Fargo, ND; two great-grandchildren, Holden Leo Alber and Harmony Grace Alber, Fargo, ND; his brother Paul Alber, Spearfish, SD; his 4 sisters, Rose Osmanson, Vermillion, SD; Nancy Felch, Mandan, ND; Joice Corcoran, St. Joseph, MO and Iris Gross, Morristown, SD; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Nellie, and his sister Marcella.
