Joel Kuhlman
Joel Allan Kuhlman passed away on August 10, 2012 at hospice in Jacksonville, Fl. He was born August 26, 1959 in Jamestown, ND to Allan and Ardis Kuhlman and baptized at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wimbledon, ND. He lived in that community as a child. Joel graduated from Lamberton High school, Lamberton, MN and later attended tech schools in Albert Lea, MN and Wilmer, MN.

Joel graduated from Lamberton High school, Lamberton, MN and later attended tech schools in Albert Lea, MN and Wilmer, MN.
He lived and worked in several areas of ND, SD, MN and WI. He originally started as an electronic technician and later became a welder and builder of steel buildings.
Joel enjoyed fishing for walleyes in Jamestown Reservoir and was also a gifted artist. His humor was contagious and he was always ready to help a friend.
He leaves to mourn his parents, Allan and Ardis Kuhlman, Oxford, WI, his son, Neil and his six sisters: Cindy (Joey) Liesinger, Julie (Thomas) Bartl, Leslie Frank, Marie (Troy) Bronson, Missy (Eric) Simpson, and Ali Kuhlman. There are also many nieces and nephews. Additionally he leaves his fiancee Eileen Parks and her son, Jason Parks.
Joel was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Lloyd and Anne Kuhlman and maternal grandparents Harold and Meredith Walen.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. on August 25th at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wimbledon, North Dakota.
