Gary Zinck Sr.

Gary Fredrick Zinck, Sr., 65, Jamestown, ND died Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

Gary was born September 30, 1947 in Jamestown, the son of Fred and Olive (Snyder) Zinck. He lived in Jamestown until he entered the US Navy on September 30, 1964 in Fargo, ND. He served during the Vietnam Conflict and was honorably discharged on October 14, 1971 at Long Beach, CA. Gary married Kathy Jewell in 1976 and they had four children together. They moved back to Jamestown in 1991.

Gary loved to fish, hunt, camp and play darts.

Gary is survived by his wife, Kathy, Jamestown; four children, Gary Fredrick Zinck, Jr., Sheri Diaz (Chris Carneal), Candy (Gary, Jr.) Schultes, and Robin West (Shawn Ogden), all of Jamestown; 12 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; three brothers and two sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial Service: 2:00 PM, Thursday, December 20, 2012 at the Eddy Funeral Chapel, Jamestown, with Pastor Bryce Tahran officiating.

No visitation is scheduled.
