Isabell V. Christensen, 93, Jamestown, ND died on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at Ave Marie Village, Jamestown. Isabell Vivian Christensen was born on November 22, 1919 at Jamestown, ND the daughter of Elven and Ida (Bartholomew) Johnson.

Isabell V. Christensen, 93, Jamestown, ND died on Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at Ave Marie Village, Jamestown.

Isabell Vivian Christensen was born on November 22, 1919 at Jamestown, ND the daughter of Elven and Ida (Bartholomew) Johnson. She attended school at Spiritwood, ND and later earned her GED while employed at the North Dakota State Hospital. Isabell worked at various jobs around Jamestown before her marriage to John H. Christensen at Jamestown on May 6, 1939. They settled on a farm near Jamestown. Isabell was employed as a CNA from 1969 until she retired in 1984. John died on April 20, 1981.

Isabell enjoyed playing bingo, listening to music, playing solitaire, and singing.

Survivors include her one son, Niels Christensen, Aberdeen, SD; three daughters, LaVonne (Marv) Jacobson, Valley City, ND, Jan (Rodney) Brandt, Jamestown, ND, and Shaw (Kim) Simonson, Fargo, ND; eleven grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother, Roy Johnson, three sisters, Marian Fritz, Vi Hobert, and Addy Dockter; and two great grandchildren.

Memorial Service: 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 2, 2012 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.

Visitation: None Scheduled.

Interment: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown, later in the spring.
