Magdalena Wald, 94, of Edgeley, ND, died Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Manor St. Joseph, Edgeley.

Magdalena Wald, 94, of Edgeley, ND, died Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Manor St. Joseph, Edgeley.

Magdalena was born on June 25, 1918, in Kintyre, ND, the 7th of 19 children to Frank and Magdalena (Feist) Schlosser. She was raised on the family farm and attended school in rural Kintyre. Maggie married Valentine Wald on September 19, 1938 at Transfiguration Catholic Church, Edgeley. They moved to Montpelier, ND where they farmed from 1938 until 1942, when they bought a farm near Edgeley. They retired and moved to Edgeley in October 1995. Valentine died on November 29, 1999.

Maggie was a member of Transfiguration Catholic Church and the Altar Society.

She is survived by her sons, Bill (Sharon) Wald, Washburn, ND, James (Debbie) Wald, Edgeley, Lawrence (Debbie) Wald, Edgeley, Ronald (Linda) Wald, Edgeley, David (Holly) Wald, Edgeley, Douglas (Kelly) Wald, Edgeley; daughters, Rita Wald, West Fargo, ND and Tammy (Kevin) Jangula, Edgeley; 22 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; sons-in-law, Dale Scheehean, Gladstone, OR and Jerome Triepke of Fargo, ND; two brothers, Joe Schlosser, Edgeley and Valentine Schlosser, Fargo; and one sister, Mary (Tony) Wald, Bismarck, ND.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Valentine Wald; two daughters, Delene Scheehean and Carol Triepke; and one grandson, David Scheehean; and fifteen siblings.

Eucharist of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Transfiguration Catholic Church, Edgeley.

Visitation: 4:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m, Friday, January 4, 2013 at Transfiguration Catholic Church, Edgeley.

Prayer Service: 7:00 p.m, Friday, January 4, 2013 at Transfiguration Catholic Church, Edgeley.

Interment: Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Edgeley.
