Reuben Veil

Reuben passed away Jan. 14. 2013. He was born in Streeter ND, his family moved to Jamestown ND. He served in the US Army and helped build I-90 & I-94. Before moving to Round Rock TX, he lived in Covington WA. Reuben worked at Cadman Sand & Gravel in Issaquah WA. He belonged to the Automotive Machinists Local 289 for 30 years.

Reuben is preceded in death by his wife Jacqueline Walker, his brother Roger, and his grandson Eric C. Smith & brother in-laws Kenneth Willie & John Rudell of Ocean Side CA.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Patricia “Patty” of Round Rock TX and her sons Russell C. Smith & wife Pam and grandson Austin Smith of Taylor TX, Richard L. Smith & wife Lydia (parents of Eric Smith),of San Antonio TX, Jacob Guevara & wife Kelly and great grandson Maddox of Dallas. Reuben’s Brother Harry Veil of Ypsilandi ND & his son Robin of Tuttle ND. His sister Florence Willey of Jamestown ND, her children, Mark & Marina & their children of Jamestown, Michael & his son Ian of Salt Lake City Utah, Myron & Patti & their children of Central TX, Mitchell & Candida “Candi” & their children, Mary Willie of Jamestown ND, Marlene Partlow & Tim and their children of Jamestown ND, Reuben’s daughter Sunny Eckhardt (Walker) & Bernie of Lauderdale by-the-Sea FL, son Russell Walker & Caprice, grandson Allen Walker of Pflugerville TX. Save a place in heaven for us Reuben.
