Anna M. Fredricks, 95, of Jamestown, ND, died Thursday, February 14, 2013 at Golden Acres Manor, Carrington, ND.
Anna was born July 28, 1917, on the family farm in Durham Township, near Courtenay, ND, the daughter of Peter and Anna (Sazama) Falk. She attended country school in Durham Township and worked for various farm families in the area. Anna moved to Jamestown in 1944 and worked as a waitress at the Moline Cafe for a number of years, then the Palace Cafe. Anna and Robert E. Fredricks were married on July 26, 1960 at St. James Basilica. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles, scrap-books, and loved canning and making jelly.
Anna is survived by her sister, Florence Sabinash, Jamestown; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one sister; and three brothers.
Eucharist of Christian Burial: 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 18, 2013 at Eventide at Hi-Acres Memorial Chapel.
Visitation: One hour before the service at the chapel.
Interment: Calvary Cemetery, Jamestown, ND.
