Thomas Albert Kiernan age 80 of Fargo, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2013 at Manorcare Health Services. He was born on December 11, 1932 in Jamestown, North Dakota. He graduated from Jamestown High School and attended Jamestown College and the University of North Dakota.

Thomas Albert Kiernan age 80 of Fargo, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2013 at Manorcare Health Services. He was born on December 11, 1932 in Jamestown, North Dakota. He graduated from Jamestown High
School and
attended Jamestown College and the University of North Dakota. He served in the US Army, received the National Defense Service Medal, and was stationed in Fort Carson, Colorado and Fort Lee, Virginia. He was an industrial painter at FMC in Minneapolis for many years before retiring to Fargo. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Francis and Cecilia Mary (Russell) Kiernan and his brothers Robert and Victor. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Lorraine Torrey Kiernan, Fargo, ND; a niece, Mary (Rick) Hill, Grandbury, Tx.; and three nephews, Mike (Maureen) Kiernan, West Fargo, ND; Ed (Dawn) Kiernan, Eureka, Mo.; and Patrick (Tracey) Kiernan, Carlsbad, Ca., and several great nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial was held at Holy Cross Catholic Church in West Fargo. Burial in Jamestown will be held at a later date.
