Janine Huebner, 61, of Jamestown, ND, died Saturday, March 2, 2013 at her home after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, which was fought with an amazingly positive attitude.
Janine Huebner, 61, of Jamestown, ND, died Saturday, March 2, 2013 at her home after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, which was fought with an amazingly positive attitude.
Janine was born May 1, 1951, in Bottineau, ND, the daughter of Leland and Laura (Tohm) Waters. She attended and graduated from Kramer High School, Kramer, ND. Janine married Ralph Huebner at the Lutheran Church in Kramer on February 18, 1972. They made their home in Bottineau and Kramer before they moved to the Edmunds, ND area. They also lived in Forman and Braddock before settling in Jamestown. Janine was a very dedicated employee for 25 years at the North Dakota State Hospital in Jamestown. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and active in with the Rebecca Circle and Sunday school office.
Janine enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph Huebner, Jamestown; son, Chad (Carrie Burkle) Huebner, Jamestown; daughter Kristi (Jon) Thiseth, Fargo, ND; son Greg Huebner, Jamestown; son, Mark Huebner, Jamestown; son, Todd Huebner, Harvey, ND; four grandchildren, Coty and Ethan, Talor and Bella; and two brothers, Delmer Waters, Kramer, ND and Roger Waters, Mineral Wells, TX.
Janine was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Virginia Brandt.
Funeral Service: 10:30 A.M., Thursday, March 7, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church, Jamestown, with Pastor Kenrad Pederson officiating.
Visitation: 1:00p.m., to 7:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Williams-Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.
Interment: Highland Home Cemetery, Jamestown.
