Wallace Wagner, 63, Jamestown, ND

Wallace Wagner, 63, Jamestown, formerly of Strasburg, N.D., died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2008.

Mr. Wagner was born Nov. 26, 1945, in Strasburg, the son of John B. and Regina (Bachmeier) Wagner. He attended school in Strasburg and graduated from St. Benedict’s in 1963. He served in the North Dakota National Guard. He lived in Bismarck, N.D., and worked for many construction companies. He also lived in Strasburg before moving to Jamestown. He worked for Agri-Cover, Jamestown, until his illness. He enjoyed collecting old cars.

He is survived by two daughters, Tammy (Da-mon) Heupel, Bismarck, and Kristi (Cory) Maier, Monticello, Minn.; his mother, Strasburg; a sister, Mary Davis, Strasburg; a brother, Clarence (Antoin-ette), Rapid City, S.D.; three granddaughters; and a special friend, Diane Burkle, Jamestown.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, James.

Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Strasburg, with the Rev. Leonard Eckroth officiating.

Prayer service: 7 p.m. today, Myers Funeral Home, Linton, N.D.

Visitation: 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home and one hour before the service at the church.

Burial: St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church Cemetery, Strasburg.
