Elizabeth (Mueller) Leimer, 95, Jamestown, North Dakota died Saturday, October 10, 2009 at Hi-Acres Manor Nursing Home, Jamestown.
Elizabeth Stern was born on February 22, 1914 in Robinson, North Dakota to Fredrick and Fredricka Stern. She grew up and attended school in Robinson, North Dakota. She married Jacob Mueller on November 15, 1929 in Steele, North Dakota. They farmed north of Robinson until 1937 when they moved to Tuttle. In 1951 they moved to Jamestown, North Dakota where she worked for J.C. Penney Co. for 25 years as a seamstress and clerk. Jake passed away on October 9, 1975. She married John Leimer on January 5, 1985 and they continued to make their home in Jamestown, North Dakota. Elizabeth was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Jamestown.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband, John, Jamestown; two daughters, Geraldine Krieger, Lodi, CA, Patricia (Kent) Otto, Grace City, ND; five grandchildren, two step grandchildren, three great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren; two step-children, Gloria (Ron) Stricker, Elk River, MN; Karen Devitt, Chandler, AZ; one son-in-law, Carl Pfarr, Jamestown, ND; one brother, Fred Schuler, Jamestown, ND, three half-sister, Bertha Bauer, Lodi, CA; Sophia Beckman, Ypsilanti, ND; Lydia Noonan, Fort Collins, CO.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband (Jake), one daughter, Betty Pfarr, two grandchildrenn, Penny Pfarr and Brian Remboldt, one son-in-law, Raymond Kreiger, two sisters, Lena Wolf and Emilia Bauer, one brother, Christ Schuler, one half-sister, Emma Leimer and two half brothers, Edwin Schuler and Theodore Schuler.
Funeral Service: 10:30 AM, Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at First Church of the Nazarene, Jamestown, with Rev. Richard Reynolds officiating.
Visitation: 1:00 to 7:00 PM, Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at Eddy Funeral Home, Jamestown, ND.
Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Jamestown, North Dakota
