Esther Mueller, 97, Wishek, N.D., died Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, at Wishek Home for the Aged, Wishek. Esther Fink was born Feb. 23, 1912, in Logan County near Wishek, the daughter of Philip and Mathilda (Leischner) Fink.

Esther Mueller, 97, Wishek, N.D., died Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, at Wishek Home for the Aged, Wishek.

Esther Fink was born Feb. 23, 1912, in Logan County near Wishek, the daughter of Philip and Mathilda (Leischner) Fink. She grew up and attended rural school near Wishek. She married Edwin Mueller on Sept. 29, 1931, on the Mueller farm near Wishek. They farmed in the Wishek area until 1953 when they moved to Bismarck, N.D. In 1954, they returned to the Mueller farm, which they operated until 1963 when they moved into Wishek. She worked as a cook at Wishek Community Hospital until she retired. He died Dec. 12, 2000. She entered Wishek Home for the Aged in 2003. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Wishek.

She is survived by a brother Raymond, Napoleon, N.D.; a sister, Lavina Rembold, Billings, Mont.; a daughter-in-law, Vangie Mueller, Wishek; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Gerald; her parents; a brother; a sister; and two great-granddaughters.

Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, United Methodist Church, Wishek.

Visitation: 1 to 7 p.m. today, Dahlstrom Funeral Home, Wishek.

Burial: Wishek City Cemetery, Wishek.
