  • Submitted photo<br /><br />Deb Perleberg, second-grade teacher at Pingree-Buchanan Elementary School, and her students are dressed for “Sick Day” on Jan. 30. On this day, the students dress in their pajamas all day, play games and act “sick” (have fun, relax and skip traditional school work). The activities are held place of the usual 100th day of school activities some teacher do.  <br /><br />

  • Mexican Fiesta night at Hillcrest Christian Elementary School in Jamestown was held Jan. 27. Residents enjoyed nacho “cheesers,” Mexican rice, enchiladas and fried ice cream as they supported the Christian education of the 18 students in grades 1-8 at Hillcrest. <br /><br />Submitted photo
