Louis L’Amour and Washington Elementary schools will soon share the time of one principal. The Jamestown Public School Board approved an administrative proposal at its meeting Monday that would require one administrator to serve as principal to both elementary schools.

A semi driver struck the same railroad crossing arm Monday on Third Street Southeast in Jamestown that was hit Sunday by another semi driver, according to Cpl. Brian Miller of the Jamestown Police Department.

One of the unique things about sports is the sometimes odd bedfellows it creates. Such as championship teams and the cities they call home. For example last week when Los Angeles, of all places, getting to collectively hoist the Stanley Cup. Odd because it’s hockey in Los Angeles. That’s almost like rowing in Toronto. The two don’t go together.
