Gaylon Hansen, age 59, of Valley City, ND, died Wednesday, June 08, 2011 at the Sheyenne Care Center in Valley City. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 13th at the Congregational United Church of Christ Church in Valley City. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the church. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 PM Sunday evening at the church. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery near Valley City.

Phil Hansen spent 11 years with the Buffalo Bills. The rewards of his labor keep on coming. He was inducted into the team’s “Wall of Fame” last fall in a halftime celebration at a Bills game in Orchard Park, N.Y. On Friday, he’ll get to be part of the team’s NFL draft by announcing the second-round pick at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. It’s an honor the NFL started for every team by allowing them to invite a former player to be part of the draft process.
