Blue Jays notch win No. 15 on the road
Each win is a new record at this point for the JHS girls hockey team. Tuesday night, they pushed the bar to 15. The Blue Jays got two goals from sisters Steph and Torri Kamlitz had a strong night between the pipes from Carissa Finck in a 5-3 win over Mandan. It was not a masterpiece by any means, but it’s three more points in the bank for the 15-5 Blue Jays.

Going places it’s never gone before has become the norm for Jamestown High School’s girls hockey program. The Jamestown 14U fastpitch softball team went 1-2 at the state tournament in Fargo last weekend, highlighted by its 10-7 win over Casselton. In the Game 2 win, they scored 10 runs with just one hit, but drew six walks. Jadee Lange had the hit. Morgan Zuck scored three runs. Lange got the win on the mound.
