Taz wrestlers fare well at state
The Jamestown Taz wrestling team earned 34 places at the state Greco and freestyle wrestling tournaments at the Jamestown Civic Center April 26-27. The Taz had 20 team members compete in Greco and 24 in freestyle. Diontrea Anderson, Brant Fields and Paxton Mewes each captured first-place honors in Greco and freestyle.

City officials say a costly environment review won’t be needed for the proposed new ballpark for the St. Paul Saints. The city said Tuesday an environmental assessment worksheet has been completed on the $54 million project. That effectively clears the way for construction of the 7,000-seat ballpark in Lowertown.
