Eslick gets JHS job: New wrestling coach excited to get started
Larry Eslick set his career goals “six or seven years ago” and on Monday night, he knocked another out. The Great Falls, Mont., native was named head wrestling coach at Jamestown High School at a school board meeting at the Jamestown Middle School. He’s been an assistant to longtime coach Greg White for the past 13 years.

Test scores: All but one school in JPS fail to meet AYP standards

Joseph Ochsner, 94, of Jamestown, ND, formerly of Medina, ND, died Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Ave Maria Village, Jamestown. Joseph Ochsner was born on September 19, 1918, in Medina, the son of John and Jacobina (Walter) Ochsner. He attended country school in Peterson Township, near Medina and helped on the family farm.

George Mack III
George Joseph Mack III, 75, Jamestown, ND passed away Friday, May 10, 2013 at Sanford Health, Fargo, ND, after a short battle with cancer. George was born April 26, 1938 on the family farm in Pettibone, ND. George was the second of twelve children to George, Jr. and Verna (Kraemer) Mack. George grew up and went to school in Pettibone. At the age of 16 he started farming for Tuffy Torgerson, who he worked for the next seven years as well as on the family farm.
