On the upswing: Blue Jays post better outings against Dickinson
The Jamestown softball team was unable to pick up the win, but it certainly showed improvement against Dickinson at McElroy Park on Tuesday. The Blue Jays opened their season against the Midgets — one of the West Region’s best this season — in Glendive (Mont.) back on April 25, falling 25-5 and 30-0. The Midgets, however, came nowhere close to hanging 55 runs on the board against Jamestown in round two.
