Four Jimmies earn A.I.I. honors
Four Jamestown College baseball players have been named to the all-A.I.I. team. Second baseman Nolan Skowronek, third baseman Nico Moreno, centerfielder Spencer Flaten and starting pitcher Blake Stewart were named to the team. Stewart, a senior from Ladner, British Columbia, finished ranked in the top 10 in the NAIA in several categories. The left-hander went 5-1 with an ERA of 1.80 and 44 strikeouts in 55 innings. He’ll long be remembered for one of the best pitching performances in school history.

Letter to the editor: Sort items properly at the recycling center
I’m not sure that everyone realizes the wonderful resource Jamestown has in its recycling center. Tons of materials go through there that would otherwise go into the landfill but instead go on to be reused in metal and paper products. The center also takes clean and useable clothing and shoes that go for good causes.
