Scouts conducting food drive
The Northern Lights Council, Boy Scouts of America and North Dakota first lady Lady Betsy Dalrymple, the 2013 Scouting for Food chair, announced Tuesday that area Scouts will be going door-to-door March 16-23. The Scouts will be distributing Scouting for Food door hangers beginning on March 16 and will return to their same area and collect the donated food on March 23.

With the help of more than 40 tips from the public, police arrested a suspect Wednesday in the Monday robbery of a south Fargo bank. Timothy Patrick McKenna, 54, a Fargo man with no permanent address, was arrested by police at 2 p.m., Chief Keith Ternes said in a press conference.
